About

Art advising that understands collecting from an intersectional perspective

Alma López, an art advisory by Michael Peña Delgadillo, is committed to excellence in the artworks it sources for its clientele. Michael is open to collaborating with those who are just beginning to explore their interest in collecting as well as those well into their journey. His top priority is to help realize your vision for your collection.

Michael’s work is informed by nearly a decade of deep engagement with the arts. He studied the history of art and architecture at Harvard with preeminent thinkers in the field. He then spent five years mobilizing that knowledge in a gallery setting, at all stages of the art acquisition process.

He is committed to running an inclusive art service and is motivated by restorative justice ideals. For this reason, Michael seeks to connect collectors with historically under-recognized artists from various groups. Strategic art collecting introduces new voices into the larger conversation.

Alma López is lovingly named after Michael's grandmother. Originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, her inspirational story guides his vision.
